In International Perspectives on Mathematics Teacher Education, Denisse R. Thompson, Christine Suurtamm, and Mary Ann Huntley have compiled a much-needed collection of descriptions of mathematics teacher education programs from a number of international countries—two from Europe (France and Sweden), the African country of Malawi, Singapore in Asia, the Oceanic country of New Zealand, Colombia in South America, and Canada and the United States in North America.
